Dr. Allison Amodie began her teaching career at Saint Raphael Academy in Pawtucket where she taught English for six years and served as the Alumni Coordinator. Dr. Amodie was named the principal of St. Teresa School in Pawtucket in July of 2016 and continued as principal until August 2020. In May of 2018, Dr. Amodie earned her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Johnson and Wales University. Dr. Amodie began as Assistant Principal at Smithfield High School at the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
Through her leadership, Dr. Amodie likes to engage families, faculty and students in different ways. She encourages positive community interactions and events and encourages all to grow and learn together. Dr. Amodie is passionate about family and community engagement and believes that the more the whole family is involved in a student's education the more beneficial it is for all stakeholders and most importantly, the student.
Dr. Amodie is a life-long Rhode Island resident and enjoys football, going to the gym, and spending time with her husband and labs, Brady and Kass.
