AP courses use college-level texts and move at a quicker pace than most high school courses. Many AP courses require work in the summer. It is important for students and parents to be aware of the high academic expectations for AP coursework in terms of the time commitment and maturity required of the student. For more information about AP courses, please reference the College Board website: https://apstudent.collegeboard.org/home

Students are responsible for the cost for the exam. The exam cost is determined by the College Board. Colleges define their own parameters for acceptance of AP coursework for college credit.
