SHS is hosting the annual SHS Showcase on December 5th from 6-8 pm. We strongly encourage current 8th graders and their families to attend this event. Students and families from all grades and from surrounding communities are also invited. Good evening! Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, November 15th. Teachers will be available from 1-4:30 pm and 5:30-7:45 pm. Conferences are first come, first serve. There is no sign-up process.
During Parent Teacher Conferences, the students in the Teacher Preparation Education Pathway will be offering childcare services in room 156 A at the high school. If you are in need of this service please contact Ms.Karen DiSano at kdisano@smithfield-ps.org to obtain further information.

SHS Girls Soccer defeats SK 1-0 tonight. Moving on to D1 State Finals Saturday vs LaSalle at RIC. Noon start! #shslegacy
The SHS girls soccer team has advanced to the RIIL Division I Semifinals with a 5-0 victory over St. Mary Academy Bay View in the quarterfinals.
The semifinals are scheduled for Wednesday 11/7 vs. South Kingstown at 7:30 pm at East Greenwich High School.

The SHS football team will host EWG on Friday 11/9 at 6 p.m. at the Boyle Athletic Complex in a consolation game. This is Fan Appreciation Night and there will be no charge to get into the game.
Attendance Calls to Parents - On Monday, November 4th, SHS will be sending automated attendance calls to parents when students are absent and have not communicated with the high school office.
